Gigposter : 80s Matchbox B Line Disaster

As part of the Poster Roast 2010 event at the Camden Crawl we were invited to select a band each from the roster and design and screenprint a limited edition poster for them. The zoo has been keen to do a poster for 80s Matchbox now for close to four years but the chance never quite materialised until this point.

Its a bit of a beast at 45 x 64cm and though worked up from a photograph, we still consider the chunkiness of the magenta fill on the claws and the implementation of the type elements fairly recognisable as a Petting Zoo print.

The show was brilliant and there were some especially cool girls from Hastings who hung about and chatted afterward at the merch stall in the marble foyer of the Koko… cheers if you ever read this!

A good number were sold at the show and the remainder (of the signed and numbered edition of 50) were split with the band – either approach them or buy the last in our stock, £18 each (includes postage in the UK) email pzprints@gmail.com to enquire about availability and payment methods.
